Anya17 Opera Venues + Tickets

20th & 21st April 2016
Venue: Opera at Lilian Baylis Studio, London UK
Sadler’s Wells Theatre, Rosebery Avenue, London EC1R 4TN
Staged Showcase: WORKS IN PROGRESS - National Opera Studio Contemporary Scenes 2016

Anya17 is coming to London this April!

The National Opera Studio* will be performing the first three scenes from Anya17 at Lilian Baylis Studio in London.

Directed by one of the world’s leading opera directors Graham Vick, Anya17 was written specifically by composer Adam Gorb and librettist Ben Kaye to raise awareness of Human Trafficking.

Whilst Anya17 has now been to Liverpool, Manchester, Romania, Germany, San Francisco (and later in 2016, Los Angeles), there has not yet been a performance in London.

On April 20th, the performances (which will also include works by Michael Tippet, Mark-Anthony Turnage and others) will be enhanced by a free pre-concert talk at 6pm.

This is a showcase event, and The Lilian Baylis Studio seats only 180, so we urge anyone who would like to attend to get their tickets quickly.

*The National Opera Studio plays an essential role at the heart of British opera. The NOS is engaged by Arts Council England and the UK’s leading Opera Companies - English National Opera, Glyndebourne, Opera North, the Royal Opera House, Scottish Opera and Welsh National Opera.”
